Hummus Recipe



Ingredients:
  • 100 gms Chickpea / Garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 tbsp minced Garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Tahini
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika powder


Steps / Method:
  1. Combine all the ingredients, and blend it with a food processor.
  2. Blend it finely until smooth.
  3. It can be refrigerate for 15 days.

Fruit and Nut Cookies Recipe





Ingredients:
  • 3 cups All purpose flour / Maida
  • 11/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup tutti fruity
  • 1/2 cups nuts (cashew and almonds)
  • 2 cups Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda


Steps / Method:
  1. Mix oil and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  2. Then chop the nuts finely.
  3. In another bowl put maida, tutti fruity, nuts and baking powder and mix well.
  4. Then mix the oil and sugar mixture with the maida mixture.
  5. Now pre-heat the oven at 200 degree celsius for 5 minutes.
  6. Then put the dough in a flat plate and spread over the plate evenly.
  7. Now with the help of knife cut the dough into small squares of your desired size.
  8. Then put it in the oven and bake for 15-17 minutes or little golden colour.
  9. Then remove from the oven and allow it to cool. serve with tea and coffee.


Potato Chips Recipe





Ingredients:
  • 1 kg Potato
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required


Steps / Method:
  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly in running water.
  2. Boil 2 liters of water along with salt and turmeric powder.
  3. Then slice the potatoes and put it in the boiling water.
  4. Boil for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Then remove the potatoes from boiling water and put them in a tray.
  6. Then keep the boiled potatoes slices in the sun rays for 2-3 days or until they are dried properly.
  7. We can store the processed potatoes for 2-3 months.
  8. While serving, heat oil in a pan.
  9. And add some processed potatoes into the hot oil and fry until size increases and turn little golden in colour.
  10. Then remove the chips from oil and season with red chilli powder.
  11. Now potato chips is ready to serve.
